Ceremonies crafted with care and compassion.
I believe there is amazing healing power in a funeral ceremony that truly brings the essence of the person who has died into the space. This can be done through words, music and readings carefully chosen to reflect their life and personality, delivered in a heartfelt and honest way. It can bring great comfort and inspiration to those left behind and is an important step in the grieving process.
As a Reiki and Angelic Reiki Practitioner, Soul Midwife and Hospice volunteer I have supported many clients and their families through difficult circumstances with empathy and compassion. I believe that taking the time to listen to people and showing that you care can help make even the most challenging situation feel more bearable.
Arranging a funeral ceremony is not something that most of us are prepared for. It can feel stressful and overwhelming, particularly when you are experiencing the grief and shock of losing someone you love.
As a Greenfuse trained Funeral Celebrant I can help at this difficult time.
~ I will visit you in your own home and take the time to listen, so that I can get a real sense of the personality, character and beliefs of your loved one.
~ With care and sensitivity I will guide you through the ceremony process, providing help and advice, if needed, with music, poetry, readings, eulogies, tributes and other personal touches that help make a ceremony special.
~ I will create a unique and beautiful script for your approval.
~ I will deliver as much or as little of the ceremony as you require on the day, depending on how much you and others may want to participate. I am happy to provide support for participants if needed.
Together we’ll create a special farewell, one that you and your loved one can be proud of.
"As soon as we met Jessica we knew she was the person for the job. Jessica not only sat for hours talking to us to find out about the wonderful woman that she had to speak about but you could tell that she cared about us and the family and wanted to put our minds at rest with the planning of the funeral to make sure that everything would be perfect on the day.
On the day of the funeral Jessica met all the family and did an amazing service, she spoke from the heart and talked about Flo as if she had known her. It was without doubt a very fitting, affectionate tribute and Jessica's caring warm heart shone through.
We would not hesitate to recommend Jessica as a funeral celebrant, we found her to be a very thoughtful, compassionate person, in fact we, the Neal family, have all said that we would like her to conduct our funerals when the time comes. Roy & Anita Neal”
“Jessica, I would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you for doing dad's service last week.. the moment i meet you i knew you were the right person to do the ceremony. You are caring, understanding, considerate and very attentive to detail. Dad would have been so proud & pleased, i know he would have chosen you himself.. Every single person had nothing but praise about how well the service was and how relaxed, friendly and natural you were. You have made me feel so more at ease and the aftercare also with a simple messge is so very thoughtful and very considerate.. So a huge thankyou once more you are truly amazing.. Gayle & family”

“Hi Jessica. On behalf of all the family A big Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful service you did yesterday for our mum. What you had prepared and the way you put it across was just perfect. Everyone said what a lovely service it was and some believed you actually knew mum! That is a huge credit to you and how it came across. I wish you all the best for the future and I know you will help a lot more families say farewell to their relatives in the same sensitive and companionate way. Very best wishes. Angela”
