Each human life like every great journey contains times of transition, periods of passing through, of entering into the unknown. The death of someone close to you is such a time and it can be extremely comforting to have someone alongside you and your family, helping you through and encouraging you to emerge empowered by the experience of an authentic and beautiful funeral ceremony. Together we create such a ceremony, one which is both moving and meaningful and which eloquently expresses and celebrates the unique life and beliefs of the person who has died; a ceremony which resounds in the hearts and minds of those left behind, like a note of beautiful music.
As a therapist and teacher for over twenty five years I have experienced the privilege of listening to many people of all ages and walks of life and learning about the hopes, the fears and the beliefs within human hearts. This listening without prejudice has, I believe, prepared me for the deep listening to families which is such a necessary part of creating ceremonies that are unique to each life and family. Communicating with clarity, confidence and compassion is a vital part of my work as is the weaving of words and music and the creation of a safe place for feelings to be expressed and healing to begin.
“I just wanted to write and thank you for the beautiful service you gave at my father’s funeral. You really captured his spirit and attended to our needs so sensitively too. It is important to now have that memory. Although the last couple of months have been dark, some light is beginning to come through. Thank you for helping us on that journey.” April Gallwey
"Dear Mo, Thank you so much for such a wonderful celebration service for Chris, he would have loved it. It truly was uplifting & your suggestion of finishing on a ‘positive’ was inspiring. I really appreciate your attention to detail & you delivered with feeling & love & that was so important to me, you really did convey the spirit & character of Chris. All our friends & family said it was the best service they had been to.
Thank you for making a tough day so enjoyable".
