Juli has over 5 years experience of taking funerals.
On the day, I will conduct the ceremony ensuring everything runs as smoothly as possible. Support is given to family & friends if they wish to be involved in the ceremony, such as reading the eulogy or a poem. Good communication with the family is important to me, ensuring that all possibilities are covered. Non-denominational, all faiths welcome. Individual and personal preferences are heard.
I can assist in choosing an appropriate venue, coffin, music, poems & readings. I will write, or help you to write the Eulogy (tribute), ensuring to reflect the life, character, beliefs & values of your loved one.

These are some of the lovely words people have sent to me after a funeral.
Michele – Oswestry
“I want to thank you on behalf of all our family for the beautiful service you carried out for our dear father. The kindness and compassion you showed was greatly appreciated and we have had so many comments saying what a lovely and fitting send off it was for Dad. Thank you so much”
The ‘Lee’ family – Llanfyllin
”Juli gave us lots of support and advice to help guide us through a difficult time. From the initial consultation, that lifted a weight off our shoulders, through to her warm and compassionate manner in delivering a beautiful funeral service. We couldn’t have chosen a better funeral celebrant.”
Gordon – Llanyblodwel
“Just wanted to thank you so much for the lovely service. Your kindness, compassion and support throughout was greatly appreciated by us all.”
Jenny – Llanrhaeadr-YM
“Thank you for getting everything so right yesterday. Your help, guidance and support were exactly what we needed at this sad time. We will look back remember the funeral yesterday as a high point and a celebration.”
Wendy – Oswestry
“Thank you so much for your help and guidance today. I really appreciated it. We all knew it would be difficult to say a final farewell but I felt that, because all the family participated, there was a lot of love and humour and my mum would have really enjoyed her “send off”.
So thanks once again for all you did for us to help make the day joyful.”
Emma & Stuart – Llanfyllin
“We were informed of Juli’s services through Jackson and Son’s funeral director’s in Llanfyllin. We were keen not to have a religious service, my father not being a religious man, but was concerned about the gravitas that a humanist funeral service could offer. When we first met Juli, these concerns were immediately allayed. She is friendly, professional and was very interested in our father’s life, and as we planned things, it was very relaxed. She let us all talk at will and took notes to get a real sense of our feelings towards our father and the funny and sad events in our lives and his. The service itself was just beautiful and more importantly, personal and meaningful. We are very happy that Juli led the service and gave us such touching attendance and relevant ideas. If you are looking for a non religious, spiritual or different funeral, Juli is the one to call at this confusing and overwhelming time.”
Suzanne – Leominster
“I found Juli to be a sensitive caring and loving celebrant who spent a lot time with me to get it right and guide me through just how I wanted the ceremony to be.This was important to me as I knew my partner Fred would have wanted it to be a warm loving send off, which indeed it was- thanks to Juli’s brilliant planning and organisational skills.Juli was able to guide me through all the different aspects of the day that I hadn’t even considered. This was done in a gentle and very sensitive manner, guiding me in the right direction on certain aspects of it all like timings, music and the way it would all unfold.I was pleased that she went out of her way to go and visit the crematorium where the funeral was to be held and introduced herself to the manager there. This meant a lot to me as she was then able to let me know about the practicalities of the venue.During the funeral Juli was very professional and made sure that I was ok on every level which was fantastic.Afterwards, during the memorial service, I found myself feeling very overwhelmed which she instantly picked up on. She came over to me and took me somewhere quiet, brought me tea and biscuits which helped me to feel better. Many people commented on what an amazing, loving and uplifting day it was, considering it was a funeral. They also said when their time came….they would wish for a funeral like this….”
