I can help you and your family to hold a ceremony that truly reflects and celebrates the life of your loved one.
I am able to help you select music, poems and/or readings and make it possible for family or friends to take an active part in the service if that is what they wish or I can take the ceremony completely myself, the choice is completely yours. Whatever type of ceremony you would like I can help you to achieve it.
I will happily visit you in your home, to talk over what you would like for your loved one's ceremony and if you wish, help with selecting music, reading or poems.
I can help you compile a ceremony that is unique to your family and your loved one who has died, whatever your beliefs.
I am available for funerals in Bristol and south Gloucestershire

I have been involved in the funeral profession for some 7 years following a career in community development within the voluntary sector including bereavement care, self-help groups and the Hospice movement. As an independent celebrant I am extending and enhancing my role with bereaved families and would like to help and support you as we put together a fitting ceremony for your loved one enabling you to make choices to reflect the character and beliefs of the person who has died.

When in the turmoil of bereavement it is easy to go along with other people's suggestions, but then find the funeral doesn't quite feel right. A heartfelt, personal funeral is a precious opportunity for expressing grief, saying goodbye, giving thanks and celebrating life. You will be surprised at what is possible if you stop, take a breath, and follow your heart. I can help you plan and conduct a service that flows from your beliefs, wishes and loves, and those of the person who has died, whatever they are. It is a privilege to work with families at such a sensitive time to create a ceremony full of meaning and beauty.
I am available for funerals in Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Monmouthshire.
