Family and friends need a caringly composed, bespoke ceremony as the very last demonstration of devotion and respect we can enact for our loved ones. It should, be meaningful, comforting to the bereaved, and a distinctive celebration of the life that is ended. It should also be a unique farewell, which respects the wishes and reflects the beliefs of the person who has died whether they be spiritual, religious or indeed non-religious. My role as an independent funeral celebrant is to work closely with families and loved ones to help create a heartfelt service which can become a source of comfort to them on the path ahead.

The death of someone close can be overwhelming and difficult to take in and instinctively we want to give that person the best 'send off' possible.
I can create and conduct an individual service that is both meaningful and memorable, in close consultation with the family. Music, poetry and readings that meant something to the person who has died can be interwoven into the ceremony and family or friends can speak if they wish to. Other elements, such as photographs, special flowers, or simply a wish for everyone to wear colourful clothes instead of black can all be included. I will co-ordinate everything and liaise with the Funeral Director, as well as staff at the crematorium or burial ground.
