My background is in nursing and health care for the elderly which has naturally given me a great deal of experience when reating to death, dying and bereavement. I work quietly, calmly and professionally and hope to make a difference by giving the family opportunities to express their grief in their own way at the same time as conducting well-structured ceremonies that support the. I write poems for specific funerals if requested.

Today, more people want to say farewell to their loved ones in their own way. They want a funeral service filled with warmth and respect for the person who has died; finding comfort and healing in this last act of love - creating and participating in a special service for them.
I help families to create personal funerals which reflect their own beliefs about living and dying, and to which they contribute in ways that are right for them. They may decorate the coffin, choose a meaningful venue; design the whole service, read a poem or letters, sing or play music; write and deliver personal tributes, and invite others to join them. These are unique ceremonies which honour the person who has died, grieve their loss and celebrate their life.
I will visit you at home to talk about your wishes for the service – sharing ideas, helping to prepare a fitting tribute for the person who has died and designing a beautiful ceremony with you and your family. The choices and decisions are yours; my aim is to help you to create a special ceremony you will always remember.
