I was drawn to this work because I see a desperate need to bring more heart and soul into the way that we say goodbye to our loved ones. Too often, in the midst of grief, families are unable to choose anything other than what is suggested by the funeral director. However, I work with families to help them create the service that feels right to them, and encapsulates the essence and beliefs of the person who has died.
