Each unique life deserves to be honoured in a unique way. I will create a fitting funeral ceremony for your loved one which reflects their life, beliefs and values as you and they would wish. Whether the ceremony is secular, spiritual, or a combination of both, it is your choice and everything can be checked and approved by you before the day of the funeral.
I will meet with you at home, or other place of your choosing, to learn about the life and character of the person and find out your preferences. Favourite music, poetry or prose of your loved one can be included and I encourage family and friends to take part if they wish to.
Following our meeting I will create an individual ceremony just for your loved one and write a tribute to recollect and celebrate their life and achievements. I will liaise with your Funeral Director as necessary and you can be assured that the funeral ceremony will be conducted with compassion and care on the day.
After the funeral you will be given a presentation copy of my tribute as a keepsake.

Family and friends need a caringly composed, bespoke ceremony as the very last demonstration of devotion and respect we can enact for our loved ones. It should, be meaningful, comforting to the bereaved, and a distinctive celebration of the life that is ended. It should also be a unique farewell, which respects the wishes and reflects the beliefs of the person who has died whether they be spiritual, religious or indeed non-religious. My role as an independent funeral celebrant is to work closely with families and loved ones to help create a heartfelt service which can become a source of comfort to them on the path ahead.

I am available for funerals across West Yorkshire and Manchester.
The death of someone close can be overwhelming and difficult to take in and instinctively we want to give that person the best 'send off' possible. My role is to create with you or for you, a ceremony that reflects, honours and celebrates the unique life of the person who has died and that enables you to share your memories and feelings with others, as you say goodbye.
I will listen and respond sensitively to your preferences, needs and circumstances. Traditional or otherwise, if the ceremony comes from the heart and is meaningful for you, it will become a powerful step in the journey of acceptance, mourning and ultimately of healing.
