I believe that funerals should be family led, children included and pets can be present if wished.
I come from a nursing background with a keen interest in the holistic approach to wellbeing. I am also a complimentary therapist. I currently work in a children's hospice, which is a happy, uplifting and fulfilling place to work. I observe daily the wonder of the human spirit through adversity and am always moved by the amount of love and care that exists in that environment. Due to the nature of my work, I have experience in palliative care and funeral planning.
As a funeral celebrant, I will work with you to create an uplifting, bespoke service that is a true reflection of your loved one. I am happy to work with all denominations of faith and non-faith for both standard funerals and green burials.
"Thank you for the beautiful funeral service that you gave Mum. It was the most lovely, loving and fitting funeral I have ever been to. I am so glad that she got such a great send off". JW

I am a teacher, musician, singer and meditation guide, as well as a Funeral Celebrant. My work with performance and ceremony has shown me the great power of ritual to move the human spirit in a profound way and give meaning to significant events in our lives. Ceremonies have the potential to allow us to speak from a deeper place in our being and contact profound feelings. Giving voice is an important aspect of all the work that I do and my experiences around working with loss and grief as a therapist have led me to see the importance of working with people to create beautiful and meaningful events t
