With great empathy and a deep understanding of the complexity of personal relationships, Helen can create very individual ceremonies, weaving together the details of the persons’ life: their unique experiences, nature, beliefs and values, to create lovingly crafted ceremonies.
Helen is creative and flexible yet works with great professionalism. She will take whatever time is needed to work with families to help them identify and express their ideas and wishes and to enable them to participate as much as they want- or not, in both the planning of and within the ceremony itself.
Helen has a deep understanding of loss built on her own experiences and through supporting friends and family through difficult and complex bereavements.
The principles of equality and access are fundamental for Helen. Through her personal and work life, living with, supporting and enabling people with learning disabilities, physical impairments and mental health issues, she is dedicated to creating ceremonies that are inclusive, accessible to, and valuing of, all involved.
